Toy Soldiers on the Romantic Road

A regimental band from the order of Teutonic Knights make an impressive sight.
Between Frankfurt and Munich is the Romantic Road --- actually a deviation of Roman road -- for it is along this path that Roman legions marched to do battle with Germanic tribes. In the Middle Ages, this Roman road was studded with fortified towns that are almost unchanged to this day.
