Tasmania's Magnificent Little Wineries


When one thinks of Australian wines, South Australia, New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria – each with their famous wineries -- come to mind. But Australia’s southernmost island-state, Tasmania, also produces some memorable wines, though in smaller quantities. The area around Launceston has some outstanding wineries, and this article takes the reader around the Launceston wine route and into the wineries located there.
