In a culture far removed from Europe's, the sun-worshipping Aztecs were enjoying their herbal version of a sauna - or Temazcal - for hundreds of years before the Spanish arrived. This age-old ritual is still held today at places such as Tamarindo, near Manzanillo on Mexico's Pacific Coast.
