Nightfall On The Ganges


In Rishikesh, just 160 km from the Chinese border in North India, a nightly ceremony of Aarti takes place, which welcomes the river Ganges from heaven down to earth. This town was the birthplace of Yoga, and is still the very heart of this discipline.

Many Europeans and Americans come here to study the Hindu religion, while others come to live in the Ashrams of Rishikesh and Haridwar in order to learn the essence of Yoga.
