The Incredible Flying Boat

The Flying Boat: a unique combination of a boat and ultralight plane.
While in Turkey, we saw an inflatable rubber dinghy fitted with hang-glider wings and a small petrol motor, as well as one aluminium-framed chair built into a metal frame. This bizarre 2-person contraption looked as if it wouldn't get away from the pier to say nothing of getting airborne from the water. However it proved to be an amazing flying machine. We did a photoshoot, then interviewed the pilot and then discovered the company who made these amazing, but surprisingly airworthy, little machines, and have a steady market for these worldwide.
