'Take me to the Casbah,' became a catch cry for westerners for all that is exotic in the Arab world. And one of the most exotic names of all is 'Casablanca'. This Moroccan city, above all others typified the romantic and mysterious people and lifestyle of this part of the world. However, the modern city of Casablanca is very different to the city of the movie, a place that Humphrey Bogart would not recognise. Article describes some of Casablanca's history and contains many suggestions for things to see and do there today.
